SNdMFI sponsors Traditional Latin Mass

at the Templete de Sto. Niño de Malolos

As the 8th of December is dedicated to the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Most Rev. Dennis C. Villarojo, DD., Bishop of Malolos, has granted permission to celebrate the Traditional Tridentine Latin Mass (TLM) in only two consecrated places in the Diocese of Malolos.

It is fortunate that one of the two masses was celebrated at the Templete de Santo Niño de Malolos. The sanctuary evolved from the Vatican II format to a high altar fit for the liturgy of TLM. More so, kneeling pews were set in front for the purpose of communion.

The first Traditional Tridentine Latin Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Herbert Agustine N. Bacani. The mass was sponsored by the Sto. Niño de Malolos Foundation, Inc. (SNdMFI) and spearheaded its president, Jose Edwin V. Maclang.

The celebration of the TLM was attended not only by members and officers of the foundation, but various individuals including some Latin Mass societies, friends, associates, and devotees of the Sto. Niño de Malolos.
